Welcome to Boon Hills Farm…
“A perfect getaway…The quiet country location was heavenly, the farm house was exquisitely quaint, and I genuinely feel that it was one of the only times in our busy holiday that I felt calm and at peace.”
Lesley and Doug Palmer have been welcoming guests since 1982 with many returning year after year.
Positioned 300 yards off the A632, Boon Hills Farm is easily accessible yet it retains its rustic flavour. Just a stone’s throw away, the Jug & Glass, offers excellent evening meals. Further afield, Robin Hood’s Major Oak is just 5 miles away with Creswell Crags, Chatsworth House, Newstead Abbey and Hardwick House all within close proximity.
There are four rooms on offer: two en-suite double rooms, as well as a double and twin room with shared bathroom facilities. Both the breakfast and its timing are made to suit the guest with a traditional English breakfast always available.
The spacious lounge, including reclining settee and armchair, TV, DVD player and tea/coffee making facilities provides welcome respite from the day’s activities.
There is a beautifully manicured garden (set out for croquet in the summer!) full of bird-life which provides a place of relaxation and fun for all the family. With horses roaming the fields and hens ready to lay eggs for your breakfast, Boon Hills Farm is the perfect countryside retreat.
